Madame Terra
Madame Terra is a café / ceramics studio in Moscow.
The brand identity is built around the combination of two energies. On the one hand, there is something homely, artisanal, and caring: the market, seasonal produce, handmade work, familiar recipes, and objects with character and a sense of memory. On the other, there is a spontaneous spirit: light, slightly naive, playful, and free.
Madame Terra is not a perfect, meticulously curated home, but a living space where everything is made “for friends and family.” The menu is created the way the founder would cook for herself, her family, and those closest to her: using good ingredients, with attention to balance and a love for simple, genuine things.
This idea continues through the visual identity. The handcrafted stamp motif evokes manual work, ceramics, and objects made by hand, while typography with generous spacing and a touch of imperfection brings youthfulness, naivety, and freedom to the brand.
Madame Terra is care without being didactic, craftsmanship without heaviness, and comfort without excessive perfection.
