H2O

brand identity / web design / guidelines

2025

Introduction:
H2O is an architectural model-making studio producing physical models and installations for architects, architectural practices and development companies.

The project involved developing a new visual identity and redesigning the studio’s website, with a focus on communicating precision, technology and a material-driven approach to model making.

Idea:
The identity reflects the studio’s approach. It is built around the traces of the production process itself. Geometric fragments and cut-outs left after CNC milling became the core visual elements of the system, turning the studio’s manufacturing process into its visual language.

As part of rethinking the brand positioning, the logotype moves away from its direct association with the chemical formula and evolves into an almost purely graphic symbol, shifting the focus from reading to visual recognition.

To give the projects room to speak for themselves, the website uses a clean, spacious visual system that keeps the focus on the work.
